Summary
Description
The London Borough of Hackney is seeking to establish an Arboriculture Maintenance Framework which will ensure that the Council’s 10,000 street, 40,000 parks and 25,000 Hackney Homes’ trees are healthy thus providing a safe environment for people who live,
work and visit the London Borough of Hackney. The procurement of these services will enable the Council to maintain a high level of tree maintenance and ensure that all works are undertaken to BS 3998 2010 so that the Council fulfils its obligations to adhere
to Health and Safety regulations. The Council anticipates that 3 Providers will be awarded a place on the framework and that call-offs will be allocated on a rotation basis. The first call-off contract, for the winter package of works, will be awarded at the
same time as the framework award and shall be divided equally between the 3 Providers. The duration of the framework will be 4 years duration and will commence in October 2014.
