PSD Groundscare in association with Eliet are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the New Eliet Mega Prof Shredder at Saltex 2017 on stand G180.
It has been 20 years since Eliet made history with the introduction of the Super Prof with the world’s first mobile shredder and now the bar has been well and truly raised with the New Mega Prof.
Featuring a 35hp turbocharged diesel engine and a capacity of up to 16cm, this machine is the New flagship of the Eliet range.
Like all the other Eliet shredders, the New Mega Prof has the DNA of a real green waste shredder. Green waste consists of much more than just wood and depending on the season, pruning and trimming will generate a wide variety of different types of green waste.
The Mega Prof features a spacious opening feeding chute and large feed roller, designed to make feeding the most voluminous green waste more convenient. The unique AxeleroTM discharge system also creates a vacuum effect that assists the entry of fine, bulky and leafy green material.
The patented Eliet Chopping PrincipleTM is a feature of the Mega Prof ensuring the material is cut in the direction of the wood fibres which means there is less power needed to achieve the shredders top performance.
The Mega Prof is also equipped with the revolutionary Eco EyeTM as standard. This award winning technology analyses the permanent operation of the shredder and when the machine is non-productive, the speed of the 35hp diesel motor is set to idle. This will result in a lower fuel consumption where over a year a saving of up to 200 litres can easily be achieved.
Although powerful and efficient, the Mega Prof has a weight of <750kg, therefore there is no requirement for a special drivers license to take this machine to the action.
