Plumpton College, based in East Sussex, is looking for new arboriculture and forestry apprentices across several cohorts.
Currently taking enquiries for Level 2 Arborist Apprenticeship and Level 4 Arboriculturist Apprenticeship, both starting in October 2026 and Level 4 Forest Works Manager Apprenticeship which will begin in February 2027.
The apprenticeships support "employers to develop skilled, confident and work-ready professionals for the land-based sector," says programme manager Laurence Bartlam.
Plumpton College specialises in land-based courses, where arboriculture and forestry apprentices will benefit from industry-focused training delivered by experienced specialists, practical training environments, annual international study tours for higher-level apprenticeships and access to the college's apprentice talent bank which connects employers to individuals.
Businesses interested in taking on new employees are also welcome to join the talent bank. Bartlam says:
"For employers, this is an opportunity to build capability within your organisation while supporting high-quality technical education aligned to industry needs."
