New trio for RFS

The Royal Forestry Society (RFS) has appointed three new members of staff as it strengthens the services offered to members and grows its educational projects.

Chief Executive Simon Lloyd says: “These are exciting times for the RFS with a number of new initiatives planned for 2015 and beyond. Our enhanced team will help us to continue to grow.” Zoe Knight joins as Membership Coordinator. Zoe has extensive administrative experience, including, most recently, as Office Administrator and Secretary at the RSPB in Banbury.Caroline Hukins has been appointed Fundraising Manager, a new role to develop and expand educational programmes. She has a long history of fundraising experience, gained within UK charities including NSPCC, Macmillan Cancer Support and Asthma UK. Most recently she was selected onto the Clore Social Fellowship Programme, a prestigious leadership development programme designed for aspiring leaders in the charity sector.

Corinne Moss has joined as Teaching Trees Project Coordinator with responsibility for managing the development of the RFS Teaching Trees programme as it expands into new areas of the country.

Corinne’s career in Conservation Management and Environmental Education has spanned 20 years. She holds a degree in Environmental Science, and worked as a conservation charity project officer, a ranger and, for eight years, as conservation and recreation sites manager for Severn Trent Water.
