Hitachi Power Tools has launched its latest chainsaw, the CS33EDP, with New PureFire engine, designed to tackle the big jobs with minimum effort and strain for the operator.

Using kit all day long can take its toll, but the great advantage of the new CS33EDP is its anti-fatigue features. The CS33EDP has increased cutting speed and requires approximately 50% less pulling force to start than previous models.  It is extremely low in weight, coming in at just 3.7kg (excluding bar and chain). But while it’s low on grammes, it’s high on power – running at 1.3kW on maximum, it can tackle even the biggest jobs.

The chainsaw houses a spring type anti-vibration system that reduces strain on the hands. It also has a primer pump and an S-Start recoil system, which means less effort is needed to start the engine. Furthermore, the saw comes with an auto-return choke with half throttle function for problem free starting.  The New PureFire engine meets European standards for low emissions, meaning the chainsaw is suitable for prolonged use.

The CS33EDP has a side access chain tensioner so readjusting the chain is quick and simple, saving time and effort. The sprocket nose guide bar is available at lengths of 350mm or 400mm.

The CS33EDP comes with a 2 year warranty when registered online via www.hitachi-powertools.co.uk (terms and conditions apply).
