Green-tech welcomed forestry and woodland sector representatives for its North Yorkshire home for the Confor North Regional Committee Meeting on 13 May 2026.

Industry partners, Confor committee members and invited guests headed to Knaresborough for a morning of discussion on key regional priorities and a tour of Green-tech's operational facility and a woodland site at Lotherton, organised by Tillhill.

Focussing on current policy and market issues affecting forestry and woodland management, the meeting looked at timber market conditions, sector updates and developments impacting woodland owners and businesses.

Adam Topliss, business development manager at Green-tech, comments on the day:

"Days like this are invaluable for bringing the sector together to share insight, discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead, and see first-hand how practical solutions can support woodland management and the wider supply chain."

John Bruce, national manager England at Confor adds:

"Green-tech’s support in hosting this meeting is greatly appreciated. It is an excellent opportunity for members to share regional updates, discuss current market and policy issues and take part in an open visit that highlights both operational best practice and practical woodland delivery.”
