NORTH West Leicestershire District Council has teamed up with The National Forest to make the district greener through the ‘Free Tree Scheme’.
Households and community organisations across North West Leicestershire are being offered a free tree, with a choice of a crab apple, field maple, whitebeam or wild cherry.
Trees will be approximately two years old, two to three feet high and will be supplied with a guidance sheet on how to plant and look after them.
