Wood chipper manufacturer Först has expanded its UK operation. It is opening a new 10,000 square foot depot in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, following a period of growth.
The new depot will have a sales team presence to provide service to customers in the north of England. The facility will also house a hire division and a maintenance workshop. This will be where engineers can provide machinery maintenance either in Doncaster or on site at customer premises. In the beginning, one mobile service vehicle will operate from the depot with potential to increase that as the business grows in the region.
The new depot will stock new and demo machinery across Först’s fleet of diesel and petrol powered woodchippers. Also a full range of spare parts for the range, to met customers requirements.
