EOS Contracting, a market leader in the provision of innovative and tailor-made arboriculture and vegetation management services, has strengthened its fleet of Forst wood chippers to cope with increasing market demand and a significant new contract win.
The company, who employ 60 staff and provide a nationwide 24/7 service to the utility and civil engineering sectors, has recently been awarded the vegetation management contract for the overhead power network by Western Power Distribution. This, along with growth with existing customers, means EOS has added six new Forst chippers to its line up, expanding its fleet of machines to ten in total.
William Maycock, Director of EOS Contracting, commented: “We have developed an excellent reputation in the utility arboricultural industry based on our ability to provide a straightforward, professional and cost effective service. As a result, our business has been growing steadily since we launched EOS four years ago.
“The recent contract win with Western Power Distribution following a competitive tender process is testament to the first class service we provide and we are delighted to have been appointed by them based on the quality of our delivery and strict safety procedures.
“In order to continue to meet and exceed the needs of all of our customers, it is obviously essential that we have the right machines that enable our teams on the ground to carry out their work as efficiently as possible. This is why we have strengthened our fleet of Forst wood chippers.”
EOS Contracting and Forst have developed an excellent partnership approach to working over the years.
Andy Gardner, Compliance Director at EOS Contracting, said: “We have tried and tested all the wood chipper brands on the market, but the superior chipping performance and back up service and support provided by Forst is second to none. There’s no doubt that Forst wood chippers are the best on the market, our lads love working with them because they never let them down and they are the strongest and sturdiest machines available. Ultimately, using Forst chippers adds value to our service proposition so we are looking forward to continuing this successful partnership in the future.”
Along with the recent appointment by Western Power Distribution, EOS Contracting operate vegetation management services for a number of UK’s leading distribution network operators and local authorities, including Scottish & Southern Electric, the Forestry Commission, Wales & West Utilities, Coventry City Council and Norfolk County Council.
The expansion of EOS’s wood chipper fleet includes three new Forst ST6 chippers and three TR6 machines. Forst’s machines are renowned in the industry for their strength and robustness, backed up by a three year warranty for complete peace of mind.
