ACD is pleased to announce that Mark Welby, the Director of ACD Arboriculture, based in Godalming, has achieved Registered Consultant status for the Arboricultural Association, the recognised national body for the arboricultural profession representing both tree surgeons/contractors and consultants,  and is one of approximately 40 individuals recognised within the UK.

Mark Welby has said:

I am very happy to have achieved Registered Consultant status. The Arboricultural Association continues to grow and does a fantastic job representing our industry, providing professional support, and raising awareness about trees within the public realm. Becoming registered with them helps to not only raise the profile of ACD, it provides assurance to clients that they can expect an entirely professional service, following the Association’s ethical guidelines and professional standards. I see it as a great benchmark of quality and shall encourage my colleagues to strive for the same.

The Managing Director Stephen Dale added:

I am immensely proud of Mark to have achieved this and it is certainly an endorsement of the quality of work that he and his arboricultural team produce for ACD – I consider that we are providing a well-integrated environmental approach to development consultancy and Mark’s important contribution to this and the recognition from the Arboricultural Association is very welcome.

ACD are a multi-disciplinary environmental practice with offices in Surrey, Hampshire and Wiltshire, offering landscape architecture, arboriculture, ecology and archaeology, operating nationwide and specialising in housing and retail development.
