City of Trees has reached the final stage in the North West Charity Awards process, as a North West Charity of The Year finalist.
The awards have been created to shout about all the great things charities have been doing and provides an opportunity for North West charities to be celebrated and recognised for their outstanding contributions to their communities.
With 14 categories, the awards welcome entries from across Cheshire, Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire and Cumbria.
The awards are aimed at recognising and showing appreciation to charities, social leaders and individuals across the sector who have made a positive impact; giving opportunities, refuge, care and guidance for some of our community’s most affected.
City of Trees, the leading environment charity delivering projects across Greater Manchester has been announced as a finalist in the prestigious ‘Charity of the Year’ award.
This esteemed award will go to the charity or voluntary sector organisation that has had a truly exceptional year and whose recent achievements have attracted the admiration of the sector.
The winners will be announced at an awards dinner and presentation ceremony at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on Wednesday 11 October.
