Buxtons are holding a Charity Open event 2nd & 3rd October. It’s in aid of Breast Cancer and manufacturers such as Stihl, Petzl, Marlow Ropes and Oregon have donated prizes to the raffle.
There is no entrance fee, but Buxtons would like everyone attending to buy a raffle ticket. The prizes donated so far include DMM Caribiners, Mountfield 48 Blower complete with battery, Waterproof kit bag and Marlow Pink FCR climbing Rope, with many other top quality items up for grabs.
All manufacturers will be on hand to demonstrate new products, with Arborists being able to try products out in the trees in our grounds. There will be free light refreshments and free parking and a bouncy castle for those who would like to bring the family along.
Buxtons are also hoping to get a local chain saw wood carver to attend who will also donate a piece of his artwork for the charity raffle.
