2016 marks the 50th Conference to be held by the Arb Association and the event has been designed to accommodate a wide range of topics for both the Arboricultural and Landscape sectors. Speakers, delegates and exhibitors have been booking their places well in advance.
Key note speakers will be Martín Kelly, Landscape Architect and Urban Designer, Merrick Denton-Thompson President of the Landscape Institute and Paul Ries, Director of the Urban Forestry Program at Oregon University.

Day 2 of the Conference (Tuesday) will have a particular focus on the interaction between the Landscape and Arboricultural sectors.
Keele University provide excellent accommodation, conference and leisure facilities and there will be plenty of opportunity for delegates to meet speakers and explore the extensive exhibition areas.
Special events are a key part of the conference.
The Sunday field trip will visit the FACE project at BIFoR, University of Birmingham and our guest speaker at the Tuesday evening dinner will be James Ogilvie who promises to teach us all to climb Mount Everest in 3 easy steps! As always there will be plenty of time to network with colleagues and new acquaintances at the evening wine receptions and throughout the 3 days.
