Trees in several Henley roads will be cut back over the next few weeks.

Tree surgeons employed by Oxfordshire County Council have already carried out work in St Mark’s Road, St Andrew’s Road, Reading Road and Hamilton Avenue.

David Nimmo Smith, cabinet member for the environment and a Henley councillor, said: “They are cutting pavement trees, base growth and low branches to tidy up the pavements and make it easier to push buggies and things like that.”
