North Lincolnshire Council has raised no objections to 13 trees being felled in two different conservation areas.

The council was notified of proposed work to fell 12 trees and prune four others within Appleby’s conservation area, in School Lane.

It told the applicant: “On this occasion the council has decided not to make a Tree Preservation Order. You may therefore carry out the work described, provided that it is completed within two years.”

The council also raised no objections to the felling of one birch tree within Saxby-All-Saints’ conservation area, on Park Lane.

Again the local authority decided not to make a Tree Preservation Order.
