The month kicked off with a tree planting workshop with Hillier Trees in Hampshire, and a slightly more far-flung trip to the Husqvarna 572XP chainsaw launch at Forstmesse 2017 in Lucerne, Switzerland. (Pages 11 and 12)

Chainsaw sculpturist Ben Hayford spoke to us about his arboriculture career, sculptures and TV appearances. (Page 15)

Rob McBride was out in Sheffield to meet Dan Llywelyn, the internationally renowned artist campaigning for the salvation of the WWI memorial trees. (Page 24)

Paul George was back again with more chainsaw advice. This time Paul talks us through best practice when using a chainsaw. (Page 26)
